Unplug the kettle, let it cool for 15 minutes, then refill with cold water.

A : Clean it by boiling a full kettle of water twice and discarding the water before first use.

Q : How much water should I add?

Q : How do I pour water safely?

A : Hold the handle firmly, pour slowly, and avoid opening the lid when hot water is present.
